Composting Signage for McGill University

One of the 3 long-term targets in McGill's most recent Climate and Sustainability Strategy is to be Zero Waste by 2035. Towards the end of 2021 and in early 2022 the Office Of Sustainability began to expand compost collection on campus, an important step towards the completion of the target.

Creative Brief: Design print signage to make the McGill community aware of this campaign, as well as why it is necessary. The signage must showcase the diversity of compostable materials in order to demystify the process.

These posters can now be found all across McGill’s campuses, reaching thousands of students daily.
